Prince Charming was the third
Adam and The Ant's album, and their biggest commercial
success. Adam and the Ants Prince Charming was released in
1981. The Prince Charming album includes the UK No.1
singles Stand & Deliver and Prince Charming as well as the
No.3 hit Ant Rap.
The re-mastered Adam and the
Ants album, Prince Charming was released in the UK on
July 5, 2004.
This expanded re-mastered
Adam and the Ants "Prince Charming" album was digitally
remastered from the original 2 track master tapes
and includes never before heard early demo versions of
Prince Charming, Mile High Club and Showbiz. It also
includes the unreleased album demo tracks, Showbiz and
Who's A Goofy Bunny Then? It also features expanded Prince
Charming album artwork with many rare or unseen photos from
the original Allan Ballard photo sessions and 3 page
digipack with a 12 page booklet.

VHS Video - To
look at the box you think its basically a concert
film at first glance. But when Adam and the
Ants take the stage you relize that this is
no ordinary concert. Prince Charming is borderline
on theatracle spectacle!
In 1981-82 this was
unheard of.while other bands like loverboy, Rush
and the Van Halens of the world spent undisclosed
amounts of money for some pyrotechniches and (wow)
lasor lighting, Adam and the Ants put on
a show that was still the traditional concert with all
the live music, live vocals, dual drums that
the arena bands of the day presented but
his stage theatrics were light years ahead
of its time!
Adam and the Ants: Prince
Charming Review is Adam and the Ants at there
very best and also is a milestone of taking a rock
n roll concert and mixing it with theatrics in a
tasteful way and combining the two for a
spellbinding show. This is the way I
shall always remember Marco, Merrick, Terry
Lee, Gary Tibbs and yours truly Adam
Ant(stuart

The Adam and the Ants - The
beginnings.
Adam & the Ants were a UK new
wave/Glam Rock/punk band during the late 1970s and early
1980s. Adam and the Ants were one of the
bands that marked the transition from
the punk rock era to the new-wave post-punk music
era. Although the band started off with a
punk-influenced sound, it soon moved on to new wave,
motivated by new sources such as the drum-heavy "Burundi
Beat" heard on "Dog Eat Dog" and "Kings of the wild
frontier" and, of course, Prince Charming the
Album and Prince charming the hit single.
